About Henrietta
For the past 7 years, I have been committed to teaching ESL to High School and College students. I have successfully taught between 150 and 200 learners, helping them improve their language skills and academic performance.
I am deeply passionate about education and believe that English is an important tool for future opportunities. My lessons focus on improving all core skills: speaking, writing, reading, and listening. I make sure my teaching is simple, structured, and easy to follow.
A key milestone in my career has been seeing consistent improvement in my students’ confidence and academic results. Many students who once struggled are now able to communicate clearly and participate actively in class.
I create a positive and respectful learning environment where students feel safe to practice and grow. My goal is to guide students step by step until they feel independent and confident in using English.
Teaching allows me to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives every day.

My ESL teaching method is interactive and goal-based. I first understand the student’s learning purpose. Then I design lessons using real-life situations such as meetings, travel, daily conversations, and academic tasks.
I encourage active participation through speaking practice, reading activities, and writing exercises. Motivation is built by recognising student progress and encouraging consistent effort.
When students struggle, I use problem-solving techniques. I simplify explanations, provide examples, and give focused practice exercises. I guide students step by step until they feel confident.
Integrity guides my teaching practice. I provide clear and constructive feedback. I ensure students build real understanding, not just memorisation.
Flexibility is one of my strengths. I adapt lessons according to learning style and pace. Along with ESL, I teach spoken English, grammar improvement, business communication, email writing, presentation skills, and basic public speaking.
