About Rebekah
I have been an ensemble musician for many years. I completed my Masters of Music with Merit, specialising in Performance and Composition.
I have 11 years teaching experience and have seen many students successfully through Practical Exam, Theory Exams, Scholarship Auditions, and Festival performances.

Hi! I'm Rebekah. I teach intermediate to advanced violin and voice.
I was trained with Suzuki and then worked through the ABRSM syllabus. I do enjoy using the ABRSM syllabus as it encourages an all-round good musician.
I don't only focus on getting through a piece of music mistake-free, but believe music is best enjoyed through applying a holistic approach to learning a piece. So not only would I focus on building competency in note-reading and technique, but also build understanding in the structure and theory of a piece and where it sits in its tradition.
I mainly teach Intermediate and advanced students, but will consider diligent beginners.
