About Heer
School can seem extremely tough with the amount of things students are expected to balance, from academics to extracurricular, to events. I personally was in this place only a few years ago and thus can empathise with and understand the student’s position quite well. I want to put my skills of being able to explain concepts to good use for the students that just need that tiny bit of extra help.
I graduated highschool from one of the most rigorous and recognised international curriculums in the world- the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, in which I performed extremely well in Mathematics achieving a grade of 7/7.
I have volunteered in several tutoring programmes and have been explaining mathematical, literary, and computer based concepts to my peer and sibling my whole life.

Being a recent High School IB Diploma programme graduate, I understand how daunting it can seem. Therefore, my approach to teaching is extremely student friendly as if a friend is helping them out. My techniques however come from a place of recent and upto date experience, and are based on a CONCEPT FIRST model. My lessons would typically last 1.5 hours as I understand the attention span of today’s youth being one of them. The concepts would be first taught theoretically alongside worked examples during class time. Any doubts and queries will be answered and explained thoroughly in this time. To consolidate the learning and polish the understanding of concepts, worksheets of exam style questions would be given after class to complete during the week. These would typically take 30-45 mins only as I understand the workload students have.
