About Ruby
I am currently enrolled in Higher-level English Language and Literature, which I was able to attain full marks for (7/7) in the reports as well as in the end-term exam. Academics aside, Literature is a topic that I am passionate about.
My first-hand experience with the IB means that I have proficient knowledge of the skills that are sought after in this program. These skills can also be applied to other English-based programs to help students succeed in their respective courses.
I often find myself helping my peers with their academics, and I'm hoping to extend my services to more students who can benefit from my knowledge and experiences.
I’ve been passionate about figure skating and ballet for most of my life. Having coached young pupils for several years at my figure skating club, I’ve become very comfortable working with kids. The main takeaway from my time as a coach is the importance of catering my teaching style to the individual student’s strengths and limitations in an engaging manner in order for the student to learn as effectively as possible.

I can offer a variety of services in spoken and written English ranging multiple levels of fluency. From formulating grammatically correct and coherent sentences to constructing in-depth literary analyzes and effective persuasive texts.
As a gymnasium student of the International Baccalaureate program, my primary language is English. I also speak fluent Chinese and conversational Swedish and can communicate in either of these languages if need be.
