About Sarmad
My name is Sarmad and I've been giving corporations and enthusiasts photo/video production trainings for over 8 years now. I love to teach because it allows me a chance to inspire the next generation of photographers. In a world where getting heard is becoming more and more difficult on digital media, it is important for netizens to know how to express themselves effectively. I am also a scholar of Political Communication, and I realise that aesthetics in online discourses have the power to topple governments. This is a power all citizens in the 21st century should wield to become equitable participants in societies around the world!

I have a very "chuck you in the deep end" approach to teaching, but don't worry, this is a good thing! I believe that If you want to learn photography, you must be out there taking pictures. In our inaugural class, I'll be teaching you about the core tenets of photo composition, followed by lighting and photo editing. After we spend 3 hours covering the basics, we'll head out to London to do some street photography. In my experience, the chaos of an urban setting provides the perfect environment for photographers to test their ability to think critically yet creatively. We will repeat this process until you amass a portfolio of ~20 pictures that you are truly proud of.
