About Joshua
I am PhD student conducting research into how video games can be perceived as persuasive, educational, and/or empathetic.
I have experience of being a mentor, trainer, and Seminar Leader; at Russell Group University.
I enjoy teaching for I find it to be empathic/nostalgic experience. There is a joy to be found in seeing a person be in the same place you were in, and then be able to help them navigate themselves out of it.

I prefer an Active Learning approach, as the research would suggest you will stand to learn better. I will ask my students to come to me with questions, so you can optimise your time, and you can get the most out of this experience. We will then work together to explore and address the task, we have agreed to do together.
1-hour tutoring I argue is the most appropriate length of time, to minimise fatigue.
Masters of Arts in Security Studies (Distinction), Bachelors in Criminology and Security Studies (First-Class)
