Italian and Spanish Teacher + Acting/Drama Teacher - Spanish tutor with Silvia

Silvia helped me prepare an audition with drama school. I gave her little notice but in the little time we had she was able to analyse the text effectively and thoroughly, although she hadn't encountered it before that day, and to help me improve accordingly. She has a very good understanding of the acting techniques and she has an ability to analyse the characters and the scenes from a psychological point of view, which helps making the right choices when portraying the character on stage.
It was one of my first attempts at acting, so I was quite nervous, but she made me feel at ease and used the right words to correct me without making me feel self conscious, and I went to the audition feeling more able and empowered.

The lessons were okay, they pinpointed on key areas. Maybe more lessons at an earlier date would of helped better. They could be a little bit more Tailored to the students skill level and level of exam they are taking.

I found Silvia's lessons to really useful with emphasis on conversation as i'd asked.Through various references including pictures and texts i assimilated useful phrases and vocabulary, more than doing things the old fashioned way.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a language tutor.

We definitely made the best choice asking Silvia to be our tutor. Our lessons were a perfect example of how to learn in a fun way. She is incredibly patient and demonstrates excellent and creative ways in which to teach Italian. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Silvia to anyone!

I've really enjoyed the lessons that I have had so far with Silvia. She is a great teacher and makes you feel very comfortable and is very encouraging - this has definitely helped with my confidence. I have picked the language up quite quickly so far and I believe that this is due to her method of teaching, which is very interactive. I am looking to travel Latin America and Silvia is great at understanding the different nuances between the way people speak which is always helpful to know. I will definitely continue my lessons with Silvia.
