About Alessia
Ciao,
my name is Alessia and I was born and raised in Italy.
I have an high school diploma in Liceo delle Scienze Umane; my first and second languages are Italian and English but I'm trying to learn Korean as a third one.
I'm currently working in London in retail but occasionally I found myself teaching to my friends kids.
I'm a really easy going person, I don't like to give things to memorise but to help people to understand what are they studying.

- I can only teach on Tuesday and Wednesday any hour + Saturday and Sunday early morning few exceptions -
Ciao, my name is Alessia and I was born and raised in Italy.
I prefer to teach to beginners, upper beginners and intermediate.
An usual lesson would last 60 minutes, the primarily language will be Italian for the 90% of the time.
It's divided in 4 parts:
- Homework check* (can be swapped with just a review from the previous lesson)
- Lesson
- Practice and Revision
- Quiz time or fun game
*About homework, this is something up to the student especially adults. It won't get rated, it's just a way to keep the mind trained from a lesson to another . I understand everyone has other commitments, that's why I prefer to ask If the other person would be interested or not.
Teaching tools can vary by age while every stage will learn how to use grammar, say full sentences and read (these one are just general examples):
- Games, cartoons clips and fun activities for kids
- Social media contents and modern cultural references (memes, ads, tv shows, popular songs) for teenagers and young adults
- Movie clips, news, recipes, real life conversations for adults
