Elisa Cavaliere helped with my work during my final year of a degree course in Italian Language and Literature at UCL. She was an extremely conscientious teacher, always arriving on time and willing to mark my work outside the time we had for lessons. She was particularly good at helping me develop the argument of an essay by bringing out the salient points and express these in succinct, yet stylish Italian. I am sure she helped me obtain a First Class Honours degree and I am extremely grateful to her.

I have had the pleasure of receiving Italian lessons from Elisa Cavaliere regularly for the past two years and would like to state that this charming and highly intelligent lady is a most stimulating, conscientious and effective language teacher. I have found her lessons extremely rewarding as well as very enjoyable and I believe I have made marked progress in Italian under her tuition.

I have found my lessons with Elisa to be stimulating, challenging,
and most importantly, enjoyable. As a complete novice, one to one
lessons could have been intimidating, but Elisa's relaxed style
has meant that I have been comfortable and progressed at a pace that has pushed me to achieve. Elisa tailors her lesson to your individual objectives and takes you forward at precisely the right speed for your ability - the real advantage of one-to-one lessons with a great teacher
For more than two years, Elisa Cavaliere has been coming to my house to improve my Italian (already supposedly at an 'advanced' level). The hourly sessions - also attended by a friend who delights in the language and culture - have been instructive and stimulating.
Elisa has encouraged our use of idiomatic Italian and shored up our grasp of grammar.
Her lessons are as well prepared as they are enjoyable.
Elisa's lessons are well structured and very enjoyable. I do feel I have made progress with her instruction. The first half hour is devoted to general conversation. She is patient and encouraging which gives me the confidence to try to find the right words. The second half is devoted to grammar and correcting homework. All mistakes are gently corrected and again she is patient and encouraging and always ready to answer my queries.

During my time studying Italian with Elisa I found the lessons both enjoyable and helpful. Elisa's patience with a relative newcomer to the Italian language meant that I looked forward to each lesson.

I decided to learn Italian purely because of a love for the country, the food and the romanticism of the language.
I contacted Elisa mainly based on the fact that she was local. I chose well, as Elisa is professional, thorough and well prepared for each lesson - and most of all fun and enthusiastic!
Whether the lessons were held at my home or hers, Elisa was always punctual and always seemed genuinely pleased to be teaching each lesson.
I can highly recommend Elisa Cavaliere as your Italian tutor!
Elisa's professional, yet friendly approach instantly put me at ease and I find learning Italian with her to be stimulating, fun and rewarding. I have enjoyed studying Italian at various times over the years, but always struggled with the grammar, however in a very short space of time Elisa was able to help me to begin to understand it. I would wholeheartedly recommend Elisa as a teacher. Mrs P Tydeman, Walworth, SE17
as I am off to start a History degree at Bristol university this coming weekend, I thought I would just drop you a line to thank you for all the help you gave me in the run up to my A-levels, I am sure i would not have done as well without it! My grades have secured me the place on the history course at Bristol that I was hoping for. I really am very grateful for all your help and wish you all the best for the future.
