My lessons are fun, simple, and conversation-based from day one. You will learn greetings, slang, ordering food, and bargaining. I am patient, friendly, and I make learning easy. About the lesson

Jambo! I'm Tamara a native Swahili tutor from Nyeri, Kenya, and I help beginners speak real, everyday Swahili quickly and confidently. My lessons are not boring textbook lessons; we focus on practical conversation from day one. You will learn greetings, market bargaining, ordering food, matatu directions, and the sweet Kenyan slang like poa, sawa, and niaje. I teach in a fun, patient, and friendly way using pictures, songs, and real-life examples on Zoom. Whether you are traveling to Kenya, love Tanzanian culture, or want to connect with family, I will make you sound like a local. Karibu sana!
