About James
- What kind of experience do you have?
I am a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with experience and interest in all styles of music.
I'm a London based session trumpet player and have performed and recorded alongside some of the top musicians around the world.
Whilst studying at Guildhall School of Music and Drama I had the opportunity to perform alongside a number of renowned musicians including Dame Cleo Lane, The Dankworth's, Julien Siegel, Jazz at Lincoln Centre, Liane Carroll, Mike and Kate Westbrook. My tutors included Noel Langley, Percy Pursglove, Robbie Robson, Anne McAneny and Matt Roberts
As a performer, I have toured the UK, Europe, America and Asia playing at a number of prestigious venues including O2 Arena, O2 Academies,The Barbican, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Birmingham Town Hall, Bridgewater Hall , Cadogan Hall, Fairfield Hall, Hard Rock Cafe, Leeds Town Hall, The Spice of Life, Vortex Jazz Club and Wembley Stadium. I've also made appearances on BBC 1, BBC 4 and ITV alongside performing at major UK Festivals including Glastonbury, Boomtown and Bestival to name a few.
