I have completed the EII Japanese Language Centre training courses.
- How much do you charge?
I will offer a £5, 30 minute introductory lesson to all new students.( including counselling about your Japanese study)
My lesson fees are as follows:
• Private Lessons : £25 per person for a one hour lesson ( at my home )
• Group Lessons
2 people : £20 per person for a one hour lesson ( at my home )
3 or more people : Please enquire about availability ( at a public venue )
3 people : £18 per person for a one hour lesson
4-5 people : £15 per person for a one hour lesson
6-8 people : £13 per person for a one hour lesson
You can take group lessons with your friends or family members. Discounted lesson rates are available if you can collect a group of between 2 and 8 people.

- Where do you teach?
Face-to-face lessons: I teach from my home or at a public venue in Cheltenham.
Online lessons: I use Skype and an online whiteboard for individual and group lessons.

All ages and levels.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I can prepare students for all levels of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test and the Duke of Edinburgh award.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I teach online using Skype. I use an online whiteboard to share teaching materials and interact with students.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
I teach both children and adults and from absolute beginners to advanced level students. I begin by introducing essential sentence patterns and teaching how to use them in practise conversations. I use role-play to make the conversations real and teach how to speak Japanese naturally.You will soon realise my lessons are completely different from normal language studies at school and find that my method is both practical and effective.
- What kind of experience do you have?
I started teaching Japanese in Kumamoto, Japan 10 years ago. I teach both children and adults and from absolute beginners to advanced level students. After moving to England I've been teaching from my home.
I also have 8 years experience of teaching online using Skype and an interactive whiteboard for students all over the world. I have worked for a major Japanese online school for 2 years.
I have taught students who aim to take the JLPT exam, the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (from the1st to 5th grade), and who are studying for The Duke of Edinburgh award.
I have also helped business people who are planning to work for Japanese companies.
