About Harrison
I am a Jazz Saxophone Postgrad at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and a recent music graduate from the University of Manchester. I have been performing across the UK and abroad for over 10 years, and I love teaching music! I will always attune my lessons to the needs of the student to help them flourish, grow and to achieve their musical goals.

I teach a mixture of online and in-person lessons, covering anything related to Saxophone performance, improvisation skills, music theory, developing aural skills, composition, music production and more! I prefer to teach more intermediate/advanced topics in one-hour chunks, so if you've already got to grips with the basics, my lessons will be more worth your time! We can work on classical, jazz or pop-oriented approaches to music or I can help you work towards upcoming grades or performances. Everything that a modern musician needs. Get in touch!

Perfect! I had a really enjoyable first lesson with Harrison, learning blues improvisation. He has a clear and methodical approach and explains things very clearly while also making it stimulating and fun.

Perfect! A great teacher, knows his stuff. Harrison is teaching me from scratch and I've already done 4 scales and 2 pieces. Just need to brush up on the tempo and loud/quiet bits. Only had 3hrs of lessons!

Perfect! Harrison's lessons are great and something to look forward to each week since starting with him 4 months ago! Harrison is super flexible around my work and the online sessions via zoom work really well. He takes care to make sure concepts are understood and you're getting out of lessons what you want. For me I get a great balance of jazz theory, technique, sound, listening, and improvisation (as well as some good suggested homework / tasks to do)! Couldn't recommend more.
