About Martín
I hold a degree in Music Instruction, I am a jazz guitarist, and I have over seven years of experience teaching both online and in person. My work focuses on jazz guitar, improvisation, applied harmony, and a deep understanding of the instrument. In addition to teaching, I maintain an active performance career, which allows me to connect my teaching with real musical practice. I am passionate about helping serious students develop fretboard clarity, stronger harmonic understanding, better phrasing, and a more conscious approach to improvisation. My approach is structured, progressive, and tailored to each student.

My jazz guitar lessons are designed to help students develop a real understanding of the instrument, not just memorize shapes or licks. I work with a clear and structured approach that includes note recognition on the fretboard, intervals, triads, chords, applied harmony, rhythm, musical language, and improvisation. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level and goals. We can build a strong foundation from the beginning, or go deeper into improvisation, phrasing, jazz standards, and harmonic understanding if the student already has experience. My goal is for each student to understand how music works on the guitar and to play with greater clarity, intention, and freedom.
