About Joseph
I enjoyed my placement year in Mechanical Design Engineering, designing and testing hydraulic control valves for tractors. This means I am still young and fun, yet also able to relate how the boring 'school stuff' actually shows up in the workplace. I will use this to inspire you/your child whilst we learn! Before joining MyTutor, I often volunteered to help relatives with their Maths work, and became notorious for my patience and explanatory skills. I genuinely love the moment when someone sees they can do what they never thought they could! So much so that even back in primary school classes, I liked to teach my friends whenever they were stuck! ahahah! When I’m not tutoring, I’m probably on a road trip, at the park playing football, basketball, badminton, skateboarding, or fixing my bike, producing music, or prayerfully studying my Bible. I looove a good laugh and believe learning shouldn't just be dry memorising — let’s question things together and (hopefully) have more fun than you ever did in a classroom!

Heelllooo there future friendsss :) As I said, I love helping people actually 'get' things — not just memorise them! Oftentimes if you have a deeper understanding of something, the memory and application can easily follow! I therefore highly encourage questions/interaction to build your wider problem-solving skills! I enjoyed my placement year in Mechanical Design Engineering, designing and testing hydraulic control valves for tractors.
