- Ask questions such as:

- What are your strengths and weaknesses in English?
- What specific skills or topics do you want to improve on?
3. Needs Assessment Discussion (30 minutes):
- Discuss the student's responses from the icebreaker activity in more detail.
- Probe further to understand their preferences, interests, and learning style.
- Ask about any challenges they've faced in their English learning journey.
- Take notes on the student's goals, preferred learning methods, and any specific areas they want to focus on.
4. Goal Setting (10 minutes):
- Collaboratively establish SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) goals based on the student's needs and aspirations.
- Discuss short-term and long-term objectives.
- Set a timeline for achieving these goals.
5. Wrap-Up (5 minutes):
- Summarize the key points discussed during the meeting.
- Reiterate the agreed-upon goals and timeline.
- Confirm the next steps, whether it's scheduling future lessons or additional assessments.
Homework Assignment (Optional):
- Reflect on the discussion and jot down any additional thoughts or goals.
- Prepare a list of specific topics or skills you want to prioritize in future lessons.
