My teacher method is to utilise tactile learning so that students can see more easily how lessons in the classroom translate to working environments. I am very willing to adapt lessons to what a student personally needs in order to understand the subject matter as I am fully aware that every learns in different ways and speeds.
I have a degree in journalism and have been studying media for the past five years. I also have relevant qualifications in history, politics and computer studies. I have also been an outdoor tutor for NCS which has enabled me to have practical experience in teaching and aiding.
I am studying my final year of BA Journalism at the University of Sunderland which has given me many transferable skills such as analysing text; sub-editing, writing articles and shorthand which I have for 100 wpm. My work experience has enabled me to use and further develop my analytical skills and knowledge in a practical and fast-paced environment.

After finishing school I took them on an outward bound trip to the Lake District where I taught problem-solving, communication skills, canoeing, rock climbing and helped to supervise highwires. I also helped to manage a charity project afterward that helped a retirement home provide activities for the elderly.

I have been appointed in the past the editor of Spark magazine. It was originally going to be disbanded as no-one was willing to take up the role due to it being such a strenuous process to organise, however now due to my efforts people now have the chance to write for an actual magazine whilst still at university, it has also helped me develop personally as it has given me team leadership skills and more advanced problem-solving techniques.
After a years progress I was appointed the media team lead for Sun Racing, a car team which participates at formula student every year at Silverstone. I have been able to reactivate the website which had fallen into disuse and publish articles which has benefitted the team by gaining far more publicity and recruitment.
