About Ramon
Students who feel nervous about their first bow stroke often struggle with the physical demands of holding the instrument. I admit that I still remember my own initial difficulty with proper posture and hold.
Over 13 years, I have taught 465 students, ranging from absolute beginners to those preparing for intense grade exams. My Juilliard degree informs how I teach shifting positions and double stops to ensure your mechanics remain efficient. Having worked with so many learners, I understand the common roadblocks students face when tackling classical repertoire or music theory. I want to help you achieve your goal.

Great technique is built on the singular fact that small adjustments in alignment prevent long term strain. Because I hold a degree from The Juilliard School, I emphasize clear, methodical corrections for your posture, shifting positions, and vibrato control. We spend our time refining your classical repertoire while ensuring that your music theory knowledge supports your physical execution of double stops. This structured approach allows students to bridge the gap between basic sound production and musical expression.
I provide feedback that clarifies your path forward while keeping the workload manageable for your current skill level. An 8.0 rating indicates how much my students appreciate this clarity.
We focus on consistent progress that builds your confidence. You gain the skills necessary to perform with precision. My goal is to help you feel comfortable with your technique.
