My students' achievements are my priority, as well as creating a comfortable and supportive environment for them to succeed in.
You can't learn Russian in one day, but learning how to read, speak and write can be incredibly exciting and fulfilling. I can also teach you about Russian culture, which helps to provide valuable context next to the language itself.
My passion toward teaching Russian language is highly evident. Teaching, for me, is the best job that I can think of doing and I take great pleasure in making my classes fun and rewarding.

I feel Julia is my first Russian tutor who actually taught me to speak the language. She persisted in talking to me in Russian and persisted in me replying to her in Russian. I feel since I started classes with Julia my language skills have improved significantly. She is encouraging but at the same time identifies areas of improvement. I would recommend Julia to anyone who wants to learn Russian".
Julija was a truly excellent teacher. She uses great techniques such as dictation to help to develop a student's language skills. She is very patient and has excellent recommendations for materials including books and websites to help develop language away from lessons. Thank you, Julija, for all your help!
Julia came in as an examiner for GCSE Russian speaking first and helped our student to prepare for her Reading, Writing and Listening exams, our student achieved an A* in her GCSE Russian. We were very happy with Julija and would recommended her highly".
Julija was so helpful for the stage where I was at in Russian, A Level. She has the ability to listen, to respond and most importantly be patient and understanding in the difficulties of this most difficult language, which she helped to iron out very efficiently! I really enjoyed our time together and my grade went up by at least 2 stages from B to A* with her help!! A must-recommend!
Juija introduced me to Russian language and is an excellent teacher. She has the ability to explain things very clearly and is extremely patient and encouraging. She is able to instill an enthusiasm into the learning process which makes the lessons a lot of fun. I really enjoyed our time together".
I have been having weekly private individual Russian language lessons with Julija since July 2012.
I have found Julija to be an excellent teacher and I have been very pleased with the quality of her lessons. Julija constantly strives to make sure I can develop my Russian and become as fluent as possible.
I wholeheartedly recommend Julija as a teacher. She is engaging and patient and I have been really pleased with my progress since I have been studying with Julija".
Julija helped to prepare my daughter for the GCSE in Russian examination. I was impressed with the pre-lessons session we had with her. This helped her assess my daughter's level, enabling her to construct a personalised tutoring format tailored to my daughter's need. I am confident that this contributed towards her excellent grade A* in the GCSE exam.
My daughter and I both found her very pleasant and firm as a tutor.
I'd strongly recommend her as a Russian language tutor".
I am happy to give this recommendation to Ms Julia Guste - Russian language tutor.
My daughter had just received her GCSE Russian language exam results which are A*s.
Julija dealt with speaking exam at the beginning and in a short period of time prepared Liz for reading, listening and writing. The results are perfect and I'd highly recommended her!
