Just finished A levels (including French), hoping to go to university to study French and Arabic. Gives courses in French at all levels up to A level in Birmingham
Methodology
Personally, I feel as though with the French language, grammar and vocabulary is key skill to focus on. As an A level student, I'm aware of the importance of both these skills whereby they come hand in hand. My key aim will be to ensure that the students have a good knowledge of basic grammar and basic vocabulary and then improve on from there with regards to their level of knowledge, both challenging and encouraging the student at the same time. I also feel that regular vocab and grammar tests are essential to ensure that the student is keeping up to date with what they have learnt. With this, we can then progress onto the comprehension of writing, reading and speaking.
Experience
I've taught at 2 primary schools as a French assistant for a year. I've travelled to France on my own, speaking the language and have an A* at GCSE and am predicted an A* at A level. I don't have much experience in teaching but I feel as though I am passionate enough to both inspire and improve young people's French ability.

With regards to my GCSEs, I have 3 A*s (including French), 5As and 2Bs. I am still awaiting for my A level results, however my predicted grades are 3A*s (including French). I am hoping to go on and study French and Arabic at a top university in the UK, whereby I have experienced an interview for French and Arabic at the University of Oxford. For a year, I have acted as a French assistant at 2 primary schools teaching young pupils the basic vocab in the French language. Annually, I go to France, speaking the language and have previously just worked with a home owner in the South of France helping to keep her guests happy. Personally, I enjoy listening to French music and occasionally read the French news.
