About Shobhinya
I’m a Kalakshetra, Chennai graduate and hold a Postgraduate degree in Bharatanatyam from Bharathidasan University. For the past 20+ years, I’ve been running my own dance school in Singapore, guiding students across generations.
Dance, for me, is not just performance. It’s discipline, devotion, and self-expression. My classes blend the traditional rigor of Kalakshetra with a warm, caring approach that helps every student - child, teen, or adult - grow at their own pace
I teach the way I live: with patience, selflessness, and care.
My goal isn’t just to teach steps, but to build confidence, rhythm, and a lifelong love for dance. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching to you.

Kalakshetra's-style Bharatanatyam from the comfort of your home. With 20+ years of teaching in Singapore, I guide each student at their own pace, whether you’re 5 or 55. Classes are conducted in a joyful, encouraging environment where tradition meets personal growth. We offer both group and individual lessons online, so you can learn with friends or enjoy one-on-one attention. Kids, teens, and adults are all welcome.
