About Gauri
I am an avid Kathak dancer and hold an M.A. in Kathak from Indira Kala Sangit Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh. I am also a disciple of Padma Vibhushan Pt. Birju Maharaj, whose teachings have deeply inspired my artistic journey.
Kathak, for me, is not just a dance form but a way to preserve and celebrate India’s rich cultural heritage. Through my training and experience, I aspire to propagate Kathak among people of all ages and inspire the younger generation to appreciate and embrace Indian classical arts.

The Kathak classes will be conducted in a structured and interactive manner, beginning with warm-up exercises, basic footwork, hand movements, and rhythm practice. Students will gradually learn expressions, spins, and traditional compositions through regular practice sessions. The course will also include theory, building confidence and skills in the field of Kathak.
