Kathryn - Saxton and Ulleskelf - Qts

My son had lost his way with his GCSE Chemistry. After his first session he said 'Mum that was great'. He loved his lessons and looked forward to them every week. Kathryn rebuilt his confidence whilst giving him a deeper and clearer understanding of the subject. This resulted in his mark increasing from a C to an A. He now wants to do a science based degree. I highly recommend Katheryn and will always be grateful for work she did with my son. Thank you Kathryn.

Hi Kathryn just thought I'd drop you a note to say a huge thank you for helping our son with his maths and sciences. He got an A in maths. That would never have happened without your patience and help. He got B b in sciences which again he would never have got.

I just want to say how truly thankful we were when we gained Kathryn as a tutor. My daughter was struggling with her science subjects, especially physics. She informed her teachers that she didn't understand the work and with no help she was getting D's. Kathryn is very friendly, reliable and great at what she does. Katie gained so much confidence in the areas she found almost impossible. By the time she came to do her exams, she was ready for them. We were thrilled at her results. She got A's.

I've always struggled with maths, and I was daunted by the idea of the maths QTS test! Kathryn was patient and friendly, always encouraging me to ask questions about things that I didn't understand. She suggested different ways of solving problems so that I could choose a method that most suited me, and taught me tricks so I could reach answers quicker and easier. Not only did I pass first time, I also began to enjoy maths, something I never thought would happen! I couldn't thank her enough!

I was struggling with the numeracy skills test and needed support. After a few lessons with Kathryn, my mark shot up from a fail to a pass mark. She was supportive, helpful and boosted my confidence. She tailored the lessons to my individual needs and I would not have passed without her knowledge, understanding and genuine passion for maths. I just passed my numeracy skills test today and thanks to her help, I can look forward to starting university in September

After not doing maths since GCSE the thought of doing the QTS numeracy test was daunting. Kathryn built my confidence by starting simple, to check understanding and taught me tricks along the way to improve my mental arithmetic. Kathryn was kind, patient and helpful and I would recommend her tuition highly. Passed my numeracy QTS test first time, which shows the tuition worked!

Kathryn was a great science tutor for all three sciences throughout year 11, bringing my CD grade in year 10 to AA in GCSE's! Her calm and motivating approach meant I was determined to work hard whilst also growing a love for the subjects. Thankyou Kathryn!

Kathryn is amazing. The tutor sessions helped me so much, physics was my weakest science and she went through all the exam technique and content slowly and thoroughly explaining everything clearly. With Kathryn's support I went from a D in physics in year 10 mocks to an A* in GCSE's! Thankyou!!
