First Lesson Free. Music was a third of my degree. I have taught individuals and groups privately and in schools for the last 25yrs, including pupils with special needs. I am fully registered with the Scottish PVG scheme.

Piano and Singing. Beginners to Intermediate level.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
Piano teacher since 1988 both at home and in local music school and Nurseries.
- PGCE Secondary Teacher for 12yrs -RE/Music/Special Needs.
- Music was 1/3 of my degree at Edinburgh University.
- Music A'Level (1991)
- ABRSM Grade 8 Voice.
- ABRSM Grade 6 Piano.
- How much do you charge?
My rates are £12.50 for 30mins / £18.75 for 45 mins or £25 per hour.
- Where do you teach?
All lessons are in my home unless negotiated. There may be a charge for travelling time depending on the distance.
- When are you available?
I teach Monday-Friday 9am - 9pm and Saturday/Sunday 9am - 12pm.
I teach throughout the year. Pupils are required to attend lessons on a weekly basis unless they are actually away on holiday.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
ALL ages and stages from beginners to Intermediate (piano) and Advanced level for singers.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
All ABRSM examinations.
Standard Grade / Intermediate 1 and 2 / Scottish Highers.
Music Theory examinations.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
Fun and friendly piano/ singing or keyboard lessons for ALL ages with a qualified and experienced teacher. All styles of music / or Associated Board exams catered for.
Music was a third of my degree. I have taught individuals, groups and choirs in nurseries, secondary schools and privately for the last 25yrs, including pupils with special needs. I have extensive experience as a vocal performer.
I can offer lessons individually or, if you prefer, I am happy to teach yourself and a sibling/friend together. I am registered with the PVG scheme.
The first lesson is always free. After that lessons are £12.50 for a 30 minute lesson /£25 per hour. All lessons are given in my home unless negotiated. Lessons are taught after school sessions, Friday afternoons and on Saturday/Sunday mornings as well as in the week for adults.
