About Peter
A conscientious and professional individual who has taken early retirement to pursue a new career teaching and practising graphic design. After 37 years as a civil servant I took early retirement in March 2016. I am currently actively pursuing a new career as a practitioner and teacher of Adobe software products, in particular, the design industry standard, Photoshop. I am a highly motivated individual who brings a wealth of design experience to the classroom as well as being a qualified technical trainer and certified instructor. I train business and individual creatives, photographers, artists and students in Photoshop and InDesign as well as offering high-end Photoshop image retouching and photographic compilation services. Key Skills: • Adobe Photoshop Certified Expert (verifiable on Adobe site) • Adobe Photoshop Certified Instructor (verifiable on Adobe site) • Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) CTT+ Certified Trainer (verifiable) • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Adobe InDesign Practitioner • DBS (formally CRB) check compliant Other Qualifications : Qualified Cartographer (1984)
