Professional Kids' Swimming Coach - Building Water Confidence & Essential Skills
I'm Gabriele, and I specialize in teaching children aged 3+ how to swim safely and confidently. Many parents come to me when their child is nervous about water, needs structured lessons outside of crowded group classes, or wants personalized attention to progress faster.
I focus on creating a positive, encouraging environment where kids feel safe to learn at their own pace. Whether your child is taking their first steps in the water or working toward swimming independently, I tailor every session to their individual needs and comfort level.

What Your Child Will Learn
Each 60-minute lesson is designed specifically for your child's age, ability, and comfort level in the water. I work with complete beginners who are nervous about getting their face wet, through to intermediate swimmers refining their strokes.
A typical session includes:
• Gentle water confidence building (for nervous beginners)
• Breathing techniques and submersion practice
• Floating, gliding, and basic propulsion
• Stroke development (front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke)
• Water safety skills
• Fun games and activities to keep engagement high
I adapt my teaching style to each child—some need lots of encouragement and patience, others respond well to challenges. My goal is always that kids leave feeling proud of their progress and excited to come back.
Lessons take place at pools in Central London (you'll need pool access via membership, or I can suggest public pools with lane hire options). I'm flexible with scheduling for school holidays, after-school, and weekends.
