About Caroline
I have over 12 years' experience as a primary class teacher, deputy head and headteacher. I am currently tutoring 1:1. My pupils have always fed back that they have fun learning with me and find my methods easy to recall and use.

Using a tailored approach I specialise in finding gaps in children's knowledge and work with them to fill those gaps, to build confidence and help your child to reach their full potential. Whether online or in person, your child will enjoy carefully planned lessons designed to build on prior knowledge and get results. Lessons are typically an hour in length. Learning is like a Jenga tower. If your child doesn’t understand a key part of a lesson, or an idea - maybe through absence or just that they didn’t quite get it - then a gap forms. As time goes on, without a strong foundation, more gaps appear and their learning becomes wobbly; they lose confidence and can’t make connections to build on prior learning.
