About Timothy
When I first started high school I always struggled with the academic side of things but I was lucky enough to get a tutor who could support me outside of the classroom. From there I developed my knowledge and became a top mathematics student. The tutoring also inspired me to want to do the same for others, so upon graduating high school I packed my bags and moved to Wales to become a Mathematics tutor for a year teaching GCSE's. I am currently a third year student studying Mechanical Engineering and have been tutoring Maths and Physics in New Zealand at an equivalent level to A-Level for the past couple years. All of my students have earned the grades which they were hoping to achieve and I plan to continue this success rate.

My method of teaching is whatever you want it to be. I believe that every student is different and learn in different ways, I am happy to adjust my teaching style to suit the individual student’s needs. The one thing I ensure in every lesson is that we have fun because we all know that Maths isn’t the most fun for everybody. Once a student starts to enjoy a subject then the learning becomes much easier. I am clear with explaining different concepts and thoroughly enjoy seeing a student develop their knowledge.
