About Taehyang
Hi! I’m Summer, a native Korean speaker from South Korea, currently living in Sydney.
I believe learning a language should be fun, engaging, and personally meaningful — not just about following a textbook from beginning to end.
My lessons are student-led, which means I build the learning around YOU: your interests, your goals, your current level, and even the things you’re curious about that week. Whether you want to learn through Korean culture, everyday conversations, music, shows, travel, specific topics, or simply have fun exploring the language, we can shape the lessons together.
At the same time, I want every lesson to have a clear takeaway. I don’t want you to finish an hour of Korean thinking, “That was fun… but what did I actually learn?” You should leave each lesson knowing, understanding, or being able to do something that you couldn’t before.
I have several years of professional teaching experience, and one of the biggest things I’ve learned as an educator is that people learn best when they are genuinely interested and actively involved in their own learning.
So expect lessons that are interactive, flexible, sometimes a little silly, but always purposeful.
