About Hayley
Hayley graduated from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama completing a degree in Drama Applied Theatre and Education BA (Hons).
Hayley has been teaching LAMDA for a number of years with a 100% pass rate. She is currently Head of Drama for the Finch Stage School, Drama and LAMDA co-ordinator for San-Marie Studios and the Education and Outreach officer for the Towngate Theatre in Basildon.
As a performer Hayley has worked in the West End, appeared in Music Videos and been photographed for advert campaigns. Her credits include; Cinderella (Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds), Billy Elliot the Musical (Victoria Palace, West End), Changed The Way You Kissed Me (Example Music Video) and Milky Way still and Internet viral (US campaign).
Hayley has always had a keen interest in teaching and is very passionate about advocating for Arts in education. A huge part of her work ethic evolves around making drama accessible and using the arts to inspire creativity. Her teaching work includes; Youth Theatre Leader for The Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds, Participation for The Almeida Theatre (London Theatre of the Year 2016) and Workshop Leader and Performer for The Senate House Library.

I offer private LAMDA sessions in ACTING, VERSE & PROSE, PUBLIC SPEAKING and INTRODUCTORY level examinations. Sessions can take place either in my own private teaching room in Maldon or I am able to travel around Essex and provide sessions in your own homes.
Private sessions are 30mins at £15 a session (please contact me for further details about block booking discounts and sibling discounts)
LAMDA is one of the UK’s oldest and most respected awarding bodies that have been offering practical examinations in communication and performance subjects for over 130 years.
LAMDA acting, public speaking and verse & prose exams help to develop a strong speaking voice, confidence, communication skills, acting technique and memory skills by learning and performing poems, speeches or monologues. These exams can be taken by students aged 4 upwards. Grades 6, 7 and 8 exams can be turned into UCAS points which can be used to help students with University entry requirements.
From experience I have found these exams really rewarding, especially when it comes to confidence building and having the ability to communicate in a clear manner. Theses are skills invaluable to young people as they grow not just in the performing arts, but also for giving presentations or interviews.
