About Julia
I am a student of language and linguistics in York and have experience teaching English to non natives for over a year. I study various aspects of the language within my degree, including two specific modules in Language Acquisition and Teaching English As A Foreign Language.

My teaching method is based on learning through experience and involves using the vocabulary and grammar in active conversation in order to increase your fluency. Alongside this, I introduce various vocabulary games to get vocabulary to a good enough level to feel comfortable in any situation you may find yourself in. I also tailor the lesson structure and method to each student or group to ensure that each individual gets the most out of each lesson.
