About Joe
Hi, I'm Joe from China. Currently, I'm doing my master's at the University of Leeds in the UK, and I majored in Language and Artificial Intelligence for my undergrad. I've taught three Chinese learners before—not a huge number, but they improved really fast and gave awesome feedback. I’ve realised I’m especially good at helping people get past speaking and reading plateaus. I wouldn’t call it magic, but I’ve developed my own approach—not rote memorisation, but a way to actually get you 'using' the language. Teaching Chinese is more than just sharing knowledge for me; it’s more like a conversation. I’m patient and know the common sticking points beginners face, so I can help you dodge those pitfalls beforehand. Hi, hello, nice to meet you! I'm Chinese, my name is Joe. I am currently doing my postgraduate studies at the University of Leeds.
