Methodology

I give lessons to children and adults. From primary school to GCSE to A-Level or even just casual learning. I base my lessons around each individual and will tailor every class to their needs be it speaking classes, written classes or a mixture of everything.

Experience

I am a Modern Language graduate and I have a passion for languages so I am currently studying for a masters in Translation Studies at UCL in London. I have tutored people of various ages with excellent results and who have always met their desired grade in their exams!

English Language Teacher at Love English Summer School July 2017 – Alcúdia, Mallorca
Responsibilities: Making lesson plans, conducting lessons and being responsible for the welfare of 10 children between the ages of 3-7. I led the lessons in English when possible but due to the age group I had to speak Spanish at times to ensure the safety of the group and to ensure the lessons were effective and ran smoothly.

8 months of travelling around South America November 2018 – June 2019
I have just returned from a once in a life time 8-month travelling trip around 9 countries within South America. I organised it independently without the help of travel agents or tour groups. I chose South America due to my love of Spanish and subsequently I was able to speak it every day. I experienced so many amazing things and have written a 40-page guide to travelling around the continent.

Year Abroad: Bordeaux and Seville August 2016 – June 2017
I spent the whole of this year abroad in three different locations: Bordeaux, Seville and Mallorca. I improved my level of fluency in French and Spanish dramatically through totally immersing myself in their cultures and also by choosing to study at the University of Bordeaux and Seville respectively.

PASS (Peer Assisted Study Sessions) leader September 2015 - June 2016
I tutored a group of students weekly and devised lesson plans to facilitate students in the lower years of my degree discipline with a specific focus on helping them find their own solutions to problems through collaborative discussions and guided questioning.

Tutoring - I have tutored various GCSE students over the years who have been at risk of not achieving grade C and above. I have had a 100% success rate with students getting their desired grades.

I would really recommend Molly to help with your studies. She helped me so much with my a level Spanish. I was really struggling and she helped me come up with easier ways to remember the vocabulary. Molly was really friendly and easy to get along with as well :) With Molly’s help, I achieved an A from a C, which meant I got into university to study languages! Thanks so much Molly!
