About Lucie
I am a language and culture enthusiast with lots of experience in teaching. I have recently graduated from Bristol University where I studied Spanish and Portuguese. I was lucky enough to spend 6 months in Buenos Aires working as a teaching assistant on my year abroad! I have also had experience tutoring with Explore Learning where I taught children Maths and English as well as giving Spanish tuition to younger years whilst at school.

I like to make learning interactive and fun! For someone to gain knowledge in a subject they have to want to learn about it! My approach varies from student to student as no two people are the same and it's crucial that each student gets the outcome they desire from their lessons. I personally feel people learn best not solely from explanation but through practice and application of skills to different situations, therefore I often employ role plays and fun tests to encourage as much language use as possible. As grammar is the most tedious requirement of language learning, I like to put this into practice from the get-go to avoid awkward and tiresome table learning.

Details
I am happy to travel to visit the student in their home, however, I set a base fee of £6 to cover the train ticket. This rate is subject to an increase if the student lives further. All houses must be within walking distance of a train station or alternatively easy bus connections.
