About Renee
Growing up with the rhythms of Latin America, I found that words and music are inseparable. Grammar is rarely just about rules when you hear the cadence of a bolero.
I have 13 years of experience guiding teens, kids, and adults through the nuances of the language. My BA in Latin American Music from Berklee shaped how I approach syntax and accent. I work regularly with people preparing for the DELE exam or families moving abroad.
It is fascinating to see how immigration shifts the way people use their native tongue. My classes serve advanced learners who want to bridge the gap between textbook Spanish and real-world dialogue. You will find my approach is patient and focused on cultural context.

Hearing a student finally nail the difference between Castilian and Latin American intonation is the highlight of my week. Imagine the clarity of a crisp mountain breeze when the vowels finally sit correctly in your mouth.
We spend time on verb conjugation through role play rather than rote memorization. My sessions cover reading comprehension and vocabulary building using natural conversation. Travelling and relocation require more than just basic phrases.
