About Melanie
I was born in Havana, Cuba, and moved to Argentina for three years when I was sixteen. I am currently a senior student at Stony Brook University in New York. I love that Spanish, and languages in general, brings communities closer and build relationships. I have experienced this firsthand in encounters with Spanish speakers around South and North America.

I taught myself English and know the struggles of learning a new language. The best way to learn and feel confident in a new language is by naturally immersing in it. After basic grammar for each lesson, we'll practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing at a constant but slow pace to get familiar with new concepts, grammar rules, and Spanish interpretation. My lessons are perfect for beginners and an advantageous opportunity to practice for those more advanced students.
