About Miguel
I am a Colombian professional working for Duke University and currently looking to share his passion for Spanish with people in the triangle area. I was born and raised in Cali Colombia and therefore my lessons can be unique and extremely fun since I am thinking about including Spanish lessons with Salsa dancing class!

My methodology is full language and cultural immersion. I create an atmosphere where the students are challenged, as if there were in a Spanish speaking country, to be resourceful and develop trust in speaking the vocabulary they already have. Losing the fear to speak Spanish is the first step, followed by new memorizing vocabulary, spending time with Latin America literature, Latino dancing, and overall introducing the student to Spanish and its culture.
