About Laura

In 2024, I passed the JLPT N1, and I’ve been teaching as a private tutor since 2021.

I spent a year and a half studying and working in Japan, where I lived in both Osaka and Kyoto. I’ve also traveled to many different parts of Japan, so I’m always happy to share travel tips, cultural insights, and local recommendations.

About the lesson

My teaching style

I believe lessons should be built around you — your goals, interests, level, and learning style. I adapt the materials, pace, format, and teaching methods to make our lessons both effective and enjoyable.

Whether you want to improve your conversation skills, understand Japanese or Russian culture and literature, prepare for an exam, or simply feel more confident using the language, I’m here to help.

Feel free to ask me anything — let’s explore the world of languages together!

Laura is a teacher really committed to her students. Whenever I felt somewhat lost, she would take her time to listen and find a solution that would meet both my needs and learning goals. She really helped me to make progress in my studies and finally pass the N3 exam. I'm really grateful to her. I always recommend her to my friends who are interested in learning Japanese, either beginners or already at an intermediate level.
