About Mike
As a classroom teacher, I can only teach so much in a day. In the limited classroom time, students often only scratch the surface of the subject, and through tutoring I hope that I can better support young people that wish to know more to achieve higher in exams through GCSE, all the way to undergraduate or just get a better understanding of the world we all live in.

I believe the best learning is attained when thinking. Often in my subjects, the answers don't always need to be given, but a discussion of the general topic and questions coming from both sides allow a learner to form an educated well-reasoned opinion, instead of just being able to recite knowledge. I believe when a person can explain how they know something rather than what they know, they are showing a greater level of understanding.
