About Amy
I am a law student who has achieved an A* in both English language and literature .
I have been an English tutor for five years and take a holistic teaching approach by tailoring my lessons to my students .
I provide the relevant resources and learning materials within and outside the lesson and am available to mark any work or answer any questions your child may have about the work .

I take a holistic approach. Thus , before lessons I will assess a number of factors : such as the optimum learning style and method for a child, weaknesses a child may have ( through providing a baseline assessment ) and other factors which may affect learning capacity .
I usually contact a child before the lesson to gage if there is any work they want to go over . Then I will plan my lesson in compliance with acquired learning style and method (specific to the child ) . At the end of the lesson I prefer my client’s to consolidate material , so I provide supplementary learning materials and resources for me to mark . I will then deliver them written feedback next lesson for them to go over .
