"Does your current practice routine actually lead to observable progress? Students find clarity through structured paths. I provide a monthly recorded review of progress for every single student. Whether you are a hobbyist or a grade exam candidate, we will drill scales, modes, and reading tabs.
I have spent 9 years refining how to teach improvisation, soloing, and the intricacies of ear training. We also cover guitar tuning and maintenance to ensure your instrument feels perfect. I bring my formal BMus theory background to help you understand the fretboard on a deeper level.
Reading sheet music becomes simple with my methodical approach. You will finish our time together feeling ready to perform."

"Possessing a BMus degree in Voice, I find that my deep knowledge of music theory directly informs my guitar pedagogy. To be honest, I initially treated guitar as a secondary pursuit before realising its immense technical depth.
Having taught 474 students, I understand exactly why self-taught players struggle with plateauing. My 9 years of teaching allow me to break down complex blues progressions into manageable patterns. I enjoy working with returning learners who need a fresh start.
Seeing a student finally master a difficult mode is why I teach. I am quite particular about tone and technique."
