About Lucian
Hi, I'm Lucian.
I have been lead trumpet in the legendary Manchester band Riot Jazz for ten years. I have played main stage at Glastonbury and The Royal Albert Hall BBC Proms, and have toured the UK and Europe as a freelance trumpet player.
I am a Global Operations Administrator at the ABRSM exam board so have a great deal of insight into instrumental exams, both as a candidate and from the board's side.
I have an ATCL performance diploma in trumpet from Trinity College London (2004), and a BMus degree in Music from the University of Manchester (2011).

I am a passionate and energetic teacher, and love to share the joy of music. I use my natural performance ability to keep my students entertained and engaged.
I take great pride in understanding each student's individual ability, and tailoring my lessons to optimise progress and enjoyment.
I select fun and challenging repertoire from a wide range of genres to expose students to all aspects of music. I have wide experience across many genres, from Classical to Jazz, Latin to Indian. I enjoy them all, and hope to pass that on to you.
