About Luke

Hello everyone! My name is Luke, and I am a passionate Chinese teacher from Taiwan. Since I was young, I have been teaching my younger sisters, and through that experience, I discovered my passion for education. This passion has stayed with me ever since and continues to motivate me to learn how to teach others more effectively.
In my teaching, I focus on helping students understand the deeper meanings behind the language, rather than simply memorising grammar and vocabulary. I believe every student has their own unique learning style, so I tailor my lessons according to each student’s needs, making learning both more enjoyable and more efficient.
Apart from teaching, my interests include reading and watching legal dramas. I enjoy expanding my knowledge through reading, and I also draw inspiration from legal series, which helps me incorporate more meaningful and engaging content into my lessons.
I hope we can explore the world of Chinese together and grow together along the way!
During the teaching process, I place great emphasis on personalised learning, helping each student find the study methods that suit them best. I make flexible use of various online teaching materials and combine fun, interaction, and practicality to make learning Chinese lively and enjoyable. I strongly believe that a great learning experience comes from understanding each student’s learning style and tailoring lessons specifically for them.
In addition, I have a strong interest in law and linguistics. These academic backgrounds allow me to bring greater depth and breadth into my teaching, helping students not only learn Chinese, but also understand the culture and logic behind the language.
