About Mugdha
Hi! I'm Mugdha, and I’ve always had a deep love for food especially the vibrant, comforting flavours of Indian cuisine. My passion for cooking started simply because I’ve always enjoyed eating! Growing up, the kitchen was my happy place, and experimenting with spices and recipes felt like second nature. When I moved to the UK, I was determined not to give up on the rich, homemade Indian food I grew up with. But with different ingredients and a new lifestyle, I had to get creative finding ways to recreate traditional recipes using what's easily available in UK supermarkets. Along the way, I discovered how to make Indian cooking not only authentic and satisfying but also healthy, practical, and easy to fit into everyday life. From smart ingredient swaps to tips on storage and meal prep, I’ve developed methods that make Indian cooking approachable for beginners without compromising on flavour. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by long ingredient lists, confused by spices, or unsure where to start, you’re in the right place. Whether you’re cooking for yourself or your family, I’m here to help you build confidence in the kitchen and fall in love with Indian cooking — one delicious, doable recipe at a time. Let’s cook something amazing together!
