CAD allows creating pieces or parts and put them together to conceive machines, ships, buildings and anything imaginable. Creating a 3D model is the first step to 3D printing, CNC machining and fabrication in general. Also it is necessary to do simulations or calculations using a myriad of techniques.
FreeCAD is a free and open source software that follows the parametric design paradigm. That conception in design is the same in many other CAD software, like, for example, CATIA, Roadworks, Solid Edge, Inventor and Fusion360, just to mention some of them. This means that once we have acquire a good basis in creating pieces and assemblies in FreeCAD, adapt to any other of the former mentioned would take a bunch of hours.

Perfect! Amazing instructor! I had tried everything from YouTube videos, to online “master classes” and even books and nothing was working, I was getting ready to give up. Did a class with Matias and I’m amazed at what a amazing instructor he is, he was able to share screen, teach me everything at my pace, and I FINALLY found a way to learn Autodesk Design in a simple to understand method. highly recommend!!!

Ohhh he is so an amazing teacher, i could understand everything that he explained me, and believe me i was trying for a long time to understand and he was the one who could explain me well, i absolutely recomendad him.
Matias Ignacio is a great teacher, not only is he funny and makes learning fun and actually enjoyable, he is kind and won’t give up on explaining something to you until you fully understand and master it.
Matias has been my life saver for Autocad program especially Fusion 360. His instruction is very clear and, in fact he definitely took me to a level i feel comfortable with Fusion.

Matías is an incredible teacher. I have taken Python and Excel classes with him, which have been of great help in my professional development. The most remarkable thing about his skills as a teacher is that he really takes the necessary time until you understand each topic.
Matias is amazing as a teacher. He absolutely knows the subjects that he teaches. He clearly prepared the content of the class before we met online. He helped me for months and my marks in maths and physics went up by a lot. I cannot recommend him high enough. On top of all that, he is super fun to talk to and super interesting. He is fluent in Spanish, English and French. I know that because we have those languages in common.
