About Edward
I have been teaching drums for 12 years and hold a Bachelor of Music in Performance. I started drumming at age eight and fell in love instantly. Over the years, I’ve performed with multiple bands, orchestras, and studio groups. My lessons focus on technique, groove, and musicality. I believe every drummer has a unique style waiting to be unlocked. I work with students of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re new to drumming or seeking advanced training, I tailor each session to your needs. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and motivating. I break down concepts clearly so students feel confident. I emphasise proper hand technique, independence, and timing. My approach includes both traditional exercises and modern drumming methods. You’ll learn songs you love as well as essential foundations. I offer structured practice plans to help you grow between lessons. My students often notice improvements within just a few weeks. By blending structure with creativity, my lessons help students develop their own musical style, build confidence, and grow into versatile, expressive drummers, making each session productive, enjoyable, and deeply rewarding.
