About Sammy
Hi, I’m Samuel WD—though most people call me Sammy. I’m a professional drummer with over five years of experience performing, recording, and teaching across the U.K. and Europe. Since 2019, I’ve been travelling to London, Manchester, and Bristol, performing with bands and exploring styles from rock and pop to Afrobeat. Along the way, I discovered what it takes to start from scratch and grow into a confident, versatile drummer. Now, I focus on helping beginner drummers take that first step with confidence. My lessons are designed to be fun, engaging, and easy to follow, covering the fundamentals like rhythm, timing, technique, coordination, and simple improvisation. You’ll learn to play the songs you love while building a solid foundation for the future.
