About Zia
I am an experienced Economics tutor with over 5 years of teaching High School and College students, guiding 300–350 learners in Micro, Macro, Econometrics, Development, and International Trade. My teaching philosophy emphasises clarity, interactive learning, and practical examples. I value accountability, integrity, and collaboration, helping students apply knowledge effectively in exams and assignments. Many of my students have achieved significant improvements in grades and analytical skills. My aim is to make Economics approachable, understandable, and enjoyable, enabling students to build confidence, succeed academically, and develop a strong foundation in Economics.

In my Economics classes, I teach Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Development Economics, and International Trade using clear explanations and real-life examples. I value accountability, encouraging students to take responsibility for their growth, and integrity to develop honest study habits. Lessons are flexible and tailored to each student’s needs, while collaboration fosters discussion and problem-solving. I focus on exam strategies, assignments, and analytical skills. My teaching philosophy is to make Economics understandable, practical, and engaging, so students not only perform well academically but also enjoy learning the subject.
