Learn English (currently online), in Tomar & Lisbon with a friendly british teacher.

Pedro is a very capable and intelligent student who attends classes focused on improving his speaking and listening skills. He understands grammar quickly and applies it accurately in exercises, showing a strong grasp of language structure. As speaking and listening are used less frequently in his regular classes, these remain the areas where he benefits most from extra practice.

Pedro is highly motivated during our lessons and is constantly making progress, which is wonderful to see.
Keep it up Pedro. To infinity and beyond!

Ricardo's son, António, is a clever, energetic and motivated teenager who naturally incorporates English into his daily life through video games and YouTube. I’m confident that he will make great progress in our classes, particularly by strengthening his grammar, expanding his vocabulary and developing the communication skills he will need for real-world experiences in the future.

I am really looking forward to our classes together and seeing his progress!

Joana is a joy to talk to and, unlike many students her age, our classes focus mainly on conversation to help her feel confident maintaining and developing her English level.

After almost a year of classes, Joana is now preparing for university and going through an important transition in her academic life. I’m very grateful to have been part of her learning journey and wish her all the very best for the future.
The sky's the limit!

It was great to meet Rita and get to know her reasons for wanting to improve her English. I hope that with these classes Rita will feel more comfortable with her poster presentation at her future medical congress, as well as improve her general English skills for her future career! Let's do it!

Soraia's main goal was to overcome her fear of speaking English and improve her vocabulary and grammar. From the very beginning, she showed a genuine commitment to stepping outside her comfort zone and developing her communication skills.

Although we haven't had classes together for over a year we've stayed in touch through social media, and it's always a pleasure to continue chatting with her in English.

So proud of you!!!

It was great to talk to Carina today, understand her biggest difficulties understand the best way I can help her to improve her English skills.

The only way is up! Let's work together to reach your goals!

It was lovely to meet Camila and understand why she is looking to improve her English skills.
I hope that with these classes she will be able to use English more effectively in many different situations - personally and professionally.
I hope that Camila will improve quickly with the right motivation. Let's do it!

Joana did the sweetest thing by gifting her boyfriend his first English classes. I’m very happy to say that Filipe is a highly motivated student who makes a real effort to speak as much as possible in every class. He is naturally strong in conversation, although he is still building his grammar foundations, which requires focus and patience.

His learning journey is just beginning, but I’m very pleased with his progress so far and look forward to seeing his continued improvement.
Thank you for trusting in me to be your teacher!

Rafaela is a highly dedicated university student who is just as motivated to improve her English in preparation for her Erasmus exchange and future career. I am very proud of the effort she puts into studying in her free time, and this is clearly reflected in the progress she has made so far.

As Rafaela had not previously studied English formally outside of school, we began working on exam-style questions to support her development towards her goal of achieving a C1 level.
Keep it up, you are doing a great job!

It’s a pleasure to teach Sofia’s daughter and see her progress each week. Vera attends an international school, so English is essential not only now but also as she transitions into middle school next year. As she uses English regularly, her fluency is excellent. In our classes, we focus on a combination of grammar, literature and writing to further develop her skills.
You're doing a great job!

Beatriz works in consulting and started English classes as she felt her progress had stagnated. It’s been great to follow her recent project working abroad, which has clearly supported her development. Beatriz has made significant improvements in both her speaking and grammar use, and I hope this progress continues.

Sílvia's daughter Carlota brings great energy to our English classes. She is is a very motivated and talkative student who is not afraid to speak, which is a huge strength. She is doing a great job overall, and with a bit more focus on grammar rules, she will be able to strengthen her foundations and make even faster progress in the future. Keep it up Carlota, you are doing a great job!

It was great to meet Pedro in our first English class and get to know him. He is very motivated to improve his English and committed to working towards his New Year’s resolution.

Keep up the good work!

Pedro reached out to me because he’s studying a course related to his profession in English. He had done an immersive English course in England when he was younger, but doesn’t usually get the chance to speak English these days.

Pedro is able to talk about a wide range of topics, which makes our lessons really interesting — I’ve even learned a lot about dogs thanks to him! While he sometimes makes mistakes, he always tries to keep the conversation flowing naturally. We’re also reviewing grammar step by step so he can self-correct and choose the best expressions when speaking.
Keep it up!

It's a joy to teach Gabriela and see how much she is improving over so little time.

I have had the pleasure of teaching Jess, a highly enthusiastic student, over the course of several English lessons. Her energetic and talkative personality has made each class lively and enjoyable, and her genuine passion for learning English has stood out from the beginning.

Overall, Jess is a delight to teach, and I have no doubt she will continue to grow and thrive in her English language journey!

Francine has been making great progress in her English studies. Since we share similar interests, our conversations flow naturally.
To further improve her skills, she could focus more on grammar practice which I intend to do as soon as we have corrected Francine's current homework tasks.
I encourage Francine to keep using English in her free time, especially by engaging with content on TikTok in English, as she enjoys the app and it can be a fun and effective way to continue learning!
Keep it up Francine!

I had the privilege of teaching Elvira, a remarkable retired student. She consistently impressed me with her willingness to learn and her ability to improve. We focused on conversational practice, vocabulary building, and reinforcing some forgotten grammar concepts.
Her progress was significant, and she was a joy to teach.
I hope you enjoy your new life in the countryside without internet!

Marta has good foundations and it's a shame that she doesn't practice her English more.
I wish Marta all the best with her studies and future projects.

In addition to this, we also worked on general language skills, including pronunciation, grammar, and fluency in conversation, making sure his learning experience was well-rounded. Francisco's hard work has paid off, and he is now more comfortable and proficient in English.

I’m confident that Francisco will continue to excel as he applies his enhanced English skills in the future. It was a pleasure to guide him through this journey, and I look forward to seeing his continued success.
