About Sugathan
After putting in 17 years of distinguished service in the Naval Aviation, mostly onboard Aircraft Carrier, I joined a computer training Institute named National Institute of Computer Technology. And for the past 30 years, I have been taking classes for MCA and BCA students. Business Communication is my pet subject. Most BCA students do not possess the required language skills expected of an undergraduate. So, one is reduced to teaching them the basics before launching the subject. Recently I was invited by an IT companyto train fresh software Engineers to enhance their communication skills.
Interacting with the students, enlightening them and empowering them with knowledge is an exhilarating experience. And I love it.
I have a degree in English Literature, a Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering, and a Diploma in Computer Applications. Besides I am Life Member of the Aeronautical Society of India.

Start by ascertaining the language skill of the learner. This will require speaking, writing, and comprehension tests. After assessing the skill, decide at what level the instruction should start. Regular tests to be conducted at regular intervals for continuous evaluation. Where the student shows lack of progress, he has to be helped with patience and perseverance. Special thrust is given to pronunciation for non-native speakers.
